Embrace Every Emotion

When you reach a certain stage in life, Pain don’t matter, Shame don’t matter, Rejection don’t matter, Hardship doesn’t matter, you are just Rising through every circumstance with Favour, giving God Glory.

Being Bald headed as a Woman is not a Popular trend and most times a stark Bald Woman is a sign of Sickness or Suffering in one way or the other, as it is a very rare fashion trend, therefore it is also a sign of Shame and Discomfort because most Women actually have hairstyles whether short or long and for those who don’t, they cover up with synthetic hairstyles, scarfs, hats, bonnets etc. to adorn themselves.

Recently, I dreamt I was Bald, walking in a Public Place and everywhere I walked people were looking at me strangely, some in scorn, some thinking if I have lost my mind, some whispering she is Brave, I’d cover it if it were me, and the mummering went on and on. Some tried to stop me to ask what had happened. I did not recall explaining, but just kept walking and going about my Business unbothered.

Deep down, I believe that this is how we are all supposed to handle negative or just hard situations. Unbothered Pressing on Regardless.

I believe that this is the a key example of Strength, although sometimes it is easier said than done.

So many people try to cover and hide their hard moments and only share what is deemed “Appropriate”. You are trying to live a lie, life is not Perfect neither are you.

You laugh yet your cry, you sing yet you curse, you rejoice yet you mourn, you are honest yet you lie, you are faithful yet you cheat, you may be strong yet some days you would be weak, you are smart yet you sometimes you act stupid and the list goes on and on. 

It is easy to truly express the feeling in the current moment rather than what the world believes you should express. Why listen to the world? When the World can listen to you.

Be you, do you, and embrace every emotion.

You are unique, allow people to enjoy and know you for who you truly are.
