Only today I realized why church people sometimes look at me the way they do. I don’t blend in well with Church politics, culture and their learned behaviour. I am not the average Christain, I’m a Radical Believer of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If we look all through scripture we will see that people who did things in radical faith received miracles of wholeness from God, for example if we look into the book of second Kings chapter 4 verses 8 to 37 right in the mixture we would see that the Shunammite woman took care of a man of God he always pass in the village by her and when he was passing she would give him a plate of food and then she decided to actually knock up a room for him so he can rest a couple minutes eat and then go and every time he passed away he would rest there and so on till one day the man of God decided to bless Shunammite woman Hallelujah, although she didn’t ask anything of him, she didn’t do it because she wanted anything and neither did she ask anything of him so the man of God Elisha asked his servant Gehazi, what does it appear that she needs so he said her husband is old she has no son so then the man of God decided to pray that she receive a son and he went to God on her behalf concerning her receiving a son and she did Hallelujah, so Elisha was passing again in the village so he came at her and he said is everything okay with you is everything okay with your husband is everything okay with your son and she fell to his feet, by this he knew she needed something, so then she explained that her son her son was was not awakened and he was lying on the bed, the Prophet Elisha went and he lay on top of the child, put his mouth on his mouth his ears on his ears his hands and his hands and stretch himself out and the child became warm and he sneezed seven times and he woke up again, he was warm and he woke up again, God breathe life back into him but God used the Prophet Elisha to do so Hallelujah, Radical Faith.
If we look into the Book of Mark chapter 2 verses 1 to 12 we will see the guy who had palsy whom they brought in from the roof in Capernaum, the temple was so filled it was overflowing with people at the door and they were trying to get to Jesus everyone trying to receive the Healing Miracle and Breakthrough, when Jesus saw the faith he said unto the guy who was sick of palsy, son thy sins be forgiven Hallelujah so if the guy didn’t use Radical Faith and take him to the roof you know he could have missed his chance because of the crowd, likewise, the woman who held on to the the Hem of Jesus is garment she had the issue of blood you’re not even supposed to come in contact or touch the man of God when you have an issue of blood Hallelujah, you’re supposed to be isolated, the time of being unclean is upon you so she touched him of His Garment she dragged her way through the crowd while everyone was pushing and shoving, standing to their feet she took a low stands and she dragged through from below and she held onto His Garment and went against all obstacles, people could have tried to hold her back or pull her back but she went against all the odds.
The point I am getting to is sometimes, we need to go against all the odds of what Society expects from us, everyone wants us to stand in line and wait our turn, I am not saying to go being pushy and breaking rules but I am saying that I am just a Radical Believer hence sometimes in the church and even outside in the world people can tend to look at me as this type of person who is just boisterous. It may appear that I’m unable to follow rules but the capability that I know God has, is what I operate by. I listen yes, that’s your opinion yes, this is the rules of your company yes, I understand that okay all of that is all well and good but what about God’s opinion? In every office he’s the highest administrator, amongst every judge he’s the highest judge, amongst every doctor office and every surgeon he’s the mighty surgeon, amongst every counselor he’s the head of all counselors, he teaches the teachers so I always like to get God’s opinion, let me just see what God has to say, so I take that posture everywhere in life.
The book of Hebrews explains that, without faith it is impossible to please God and he’s a rewarder of those who are diligently seeking him but the most important part is he that cometh to God must believe that he is, an also faith without works is dead, all over scripture God speaks about faith. There will be times he would call us to test our Faith, you Minister to the church today you Minister to your family today, you Minister to their communities today but let me see what it looks like when you are alone, let me see what it looks like when your family not there, let me see what faith looks like when your friends are not there, let me see what faith looks like when you are outside of your community, let me see what your faith looks like when you don’t have a congregation before you, let me see what your faith looks like when you are standing alone and that has worked for me and my Christian walk, a lot of the Breakthroughs and Miracles that I have received and a lot of the things that God has done in my life is because of faith. In those situations I always saw something pulling through like the testimony that I shared recently, where I had no documents, no appointment but God made it happen. I could have walked out and said okay you know what let me come back when I’m prepared I’m not saying go unprepared on purpose, be on prepared for situations and try to walk into things being organized because people will just be quick to say oh “God is organized” no doubt, but if everything is perfect there is no room for Glory. God is one of Faith, walk by faith and not by sight Hallelujah.
Only today it dawned on me that I’m never in the correct line for prayer at these institutions, Hilarious!
I am a blessed and favored believer of the Lord Jesus Christ.
