God knows there are times we will ponder about the numbers concerning those who show interest regarding where the word of God is being shared, which is why he said where the twos and threes are gathered in his name he is in our midst.
Matthew 18:20 (KJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Don’t be discouraged when you see people not showing interest in the word of God, use it as your reminder that what you do is for God. He will draw those who are truly searching for the things concerning him.
Becoming desperate to make numbers is where most servants of the Lord fall, this causes them to feel the need to do strange things to bring people to listen.
God said that no man will come unless the spirit of the Lord leads him, in so doing he will bring his people according to his own will. We still, however, have the mandate to go out and evangelise, go out and teach, go out and be charitable to brethren. We can show people Christ and help them build a relationship with God but we can’t force them to do nothing.
John 6:44 (KJV)
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
It is better to keep Ministering to one soul with the favor of God until they repent and become saved then move on to another, rather than to have 500 before you without God’s power because no transformation can take place and you plus 500 will go to hell.
Stay in the will of God, seek the power of God before seeking altitude. Why guard a Congregation that cannot be transformed? This is insane!
The anointing is like a magnet to souls who are searching and seeking God and can draw big crowds in seconds but for every good thing there is a counterfeit, yet the mysteries of God cannot be duplicated, this is why he will seal specific messages in a believers heart for a specific time. If it was not yet uttered verbally it cannot be corrupted.
Stay in the will of God, forget the numbers and be faithful with little.
Luke 16:10 (KJV)
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
