When things do not go our way we are looking to see who is doing what and fishing for someone to blame for our misfortunes and trials but oftentimes we need to start with the man in the mirror, ourselves.
We poison ourselves by misusing the power of our mind. We are manifesting evil thoughts that can corrupt our whole being.
There are several things we trigger in our own lives by the way we think, especially towards our brethren or sistren in the Lord.
Opening doors to the spirit of envy, jealousy and unforgiveness which can all be listed as unrighteousness, we welcome the enemy to function in our space. Yes, he is given legal rights and he knows that because he knows the word of God.
Romans 1:29 {KJV}
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers.
What we need to remember is that, when the Lord visits us he searches the heart first, the heart flows to the entire body so if you have malice in your heart you can make yourself sick. You are poisoning yourself internally, then it will begin to show externally in your words and in your deeds.
Eventually you will leave a bitter taste with everyone you come near or interact with.
The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy you, but if you are destroying yourself he has no work to do.
Father God dry the poison up in your people, in the mighty name of Jesus!
