Secret Places

The secret place with God is so sweet and when he is calling you to draw nearer in his spirit you will desire to be alone where it is peaceful.

It is where we will find counsel concerning those people risen against us, just as the Psalmist David wrote in chapter seventeen verses eight, “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings”. Our enemies cannot find us in our secret place with God so it is where we will get the upper hand in every battle.

If we also look at Psalms, chapter twentyseven, verse five which says “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock”, it also refers to being hidden from trouble in his house, referring to the secret place of the A Physical Church. The verse before speaks about inquiring in his temple, there are things God will reveal in the secret place of his temple or Church as we know it, that he may not communicate at our home altar for different reasons; so spending time in his presence no matter where we are is essential.

This verse Matthew chapter six verse four which says; “That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly”, highlights the importance of not sounding an alarm every time a good deed is done, let it be a way of life so that God will openly reward us. The return Blessing lies in the secret in which we do what we do which is why the Lord will sometimes implore us to sow into a Ministry anonymously, that way he is the only one that knew you supported that cause, it will be for his Glory only. Mysteries are revealed in the things we do in secret.

There is no secret place we can hide from the Lord, some do bad and think because the eyes of men have not seen such that it is covered but God knows our secrets, good and bad. He is in our secret places which is why he will also be awaiting those who are seeking him in their secret places. In the same manner he can reveal openly bad things that we tried to cover.

Proverbs chapter twenty eight, verse five says, “Open rebuke is better than secret love”, meaning we are supposed to correct people with the love of God, because if we are afraid to offend and stay quiet concerning situations where we know better, we are encouraging them into paths of destruction. I truly believe also that this can be used to explain that we should not only love God in secret and hide our belief from others but openly confess our faith. True love is beautiful so why should it be hidden? God’s love is without condition, it is perfect. We publicise human relations with people we love who can disappoint us, therefore we should use the same energy to portray the love of God.

So love God in secret but still confess him in public.

The hidden things of our secret places either home or at Church should not be revealed unless the Lord instructs us to do so because there are devils working overtime to plot our destruction and the destruction of those we are standing for in Prayer so the less they know concerning your prayer life and deliverance the better.

Let the Power and Glory of God do the speaking.

Be Blessed Believers of God.
