Sometimes when we do not like something it can be the devil’s trick to keep us away from destined success or our call concerning the things of God, so If we strongly dislike something, especially if it is a good thing, investigate the reason why you don’t like it. Pray about it and allow the Lord to work in that situation.
In efforts to stand against the Lord’s plan for our lives, which is the job of the opposer to cause an obstruction to anything that is good, he can place strongholds in our lives to hinder growth in a particular area especially surrounding God’s plan for Ministry and our call, or even regarding Business.
For example, if you are called to do something concerning children, you may find that you dislike children, cannot stand when they cry, laugh, make noise, make mess and everything associated with having young children around, when the Lord may have called you to be a daycare owner, Sunday School teacher, Pediatrician, Preschool teacher, Special needs nurse, Orphanage owner or something along those lines.
The devil is a liar who comes to steal, kill and destroy, he works tirelessly towards every form of destruction, and sometimes these things can take root because we have left open doors for him to enter our lives “legally” due to our lack of submission to the things concerning the ways of the Lord.
We can use this information to cover in prayer, those whom we know struggle with strong dislikes and an abnormal objection to things. The Lord has given us the power over all the powers of the enemy therefore we are not supposed to just assume any and every form of bitterness is someone’s personality, most times it is not.
There are strongholds on the mind, strongholds on the heart, strongholds in the bloodline and so on.
Every and anything that is not of God and exalts itself over the ways of God can be brought low in the name of Jesus.
Satan wanted to enter the higher heaven, he wanted to be higher than God hence his casting out, likewise every force of darkness that reports to him in the dark world will try to gain altitude that is their nature, it has always been and will always be.
Some of the things we have accepted as behavioural patterns are the manifestation of powers and principalities.
I decree and declare in the Mighty name of Jesus that Every High thing must come down, Every Stronghold shall be broken, we wear the victor’s crown! Hallelujah Jesus!
