Time to be weaned

It is time to be weaned from the dependency of the Sunday Service Sermon, or the mentality of seeking a  prophetic word, because both were provided for guidance but not for us to be entirely reliant on.

There are men and women of God who are sent ahead of us in the spirit and the Lord has given them spiritual keys to help us unlock new dimensions and levels of growth and understanding, however they are there to guide, not to cut off the communication between us and the Lord Almighty himself who has the final say regarding our destinies. They are there to provide guidance and covering, so we have to be grateful without becoming too dependent.

For this reason, even the Lord will cause us to receive a word that requires confirmation so that we can seek the face of the Lord for ourselves. God wants a relationship with each and every believer that follows him.

The Lord our God wants intimacy and time from us and as we desire to draw nearer he will reveal more and more of himself to us. In so doing the more he reveals will help us to gain more wisdom and understanding concerning the things of God, and as we grow in grace we will in turn, eventually be able to point others in the direction of growth also.

Never stay in a place where there is no promotion taking place, especially in the body of Christ. If you realise that someone wants you to remain just a member for the rest of your life, get concerned.

Great leaders promote growth and development, and in this season it is imperative to grow in grace, having our own prayer lives, intimate worship, time spent in the word and the ability to act on our God-given desire to reach a new soul.

The Lord needs independent thinkers to function at various levels throughout the body of Christ, and as we seek to win the world to Jesus we know that the harvest is great and laborers are far and few, so it is time to be weaned to go higher in the Lord.

There is always room to grow in knowledge, grace, understanding, and in so many different ways, and part of the process is connecting with others who have the capacity to steer us in the right direction.

Some people begin to move forward with training wheels and believe that they have arrived due to their ability to move alone and cut off the same people that were sent to help them to remove the balance wheels. We need to make sure not to have the idea that we have arrived, because where growth is cut off, death begins.

Take the pacifiers out in Jesus mighty name, and get help with your balance wheels, there is work to be done, Hallelujah Jesus!
