The following verse confirms that the more Blessings we are given is the more we are expected to be a Blessing to others, we are not supposed to become too comfortable with God’s Blessings by forgetting others and taking for granted the fact that we will always remain in the place of receiving if we are not also giving.
Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
God is not here physically but in spirit so he can cause your life to be blessed especially if you are a giver, because he know you can be trusted to bless others in return, however, if you are retaining all the Blessings for yourself and have become greedy and selfish he can shift the blessing to someone who will be faithful with it.
Patting your chest and boasting in certain accomplishments are also signs of haughtiness with the Blessings of the Lord, not giving him Glory for what he has poured into your life by making opportunities available, as well keeping you in good health to achieve certain things.
On the other hand, not everyone that has physical assets have been blessed by the Lord, some have received by manipulation and dabbling with the dark elements of this world, so we do not expect them to have the capacity to be a blessing to someone else, yet God can still use even them with their hardened heart to be a Blessing, which is why he said the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. God still has power over those who believe that everything they have is their own, he can still shift and redistribute according to his will.
God’s Blessings makes us Rich and adds no sorrow with it, we are happy to be loved and Blessed by him however, let’s not get too comfortable with his Blessings. Hallelujah Jesus!
