Does the length of Prayer matter?

Regarding the Question, does the length of Prayer matter?
Firstly vain repetitions and babblings are just as good as a good curse with grounds to stand on, I say this without apology because the Bible spoke against vain repetitions in the Book of Matthew 6:7 which says “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking”.
When the disciples were given the Our Father Prayer as an example to pray it was a template to show how we should pray, not meant to be a one size fits all Prayer. Additionally, length can be required sometimes especially if we pray by the spirit of God and he wants to move in that moment, we should let the spirit lead without objection.

Secondly, everyone prays differently based on the grace given to them and prayer is communication based on the relationship one has with God, therefore effectiveness in Prayer will depend on your relationship with the Lord, how strong or weak it is. Showing also how much Grace was given to them. We are all partakers of the Grace of God but some have been able to access different realms based on their posture or simply by the favour of God which does not require us to earn it, however if we check the boxes according to the laws of the Lord also aligning our heart and mind we can be better transmitters of his grace.

The Church is known for aborting Blessings based on the rigid schedules of allocated prayer times which is why there is not enough deliverance. We need to be able to flow by the Grace of God without constant mediation of his power.

People who do not know power are afraid of power, and likewise people who are self righteous think they know more than God and cannot welcome anything that they did not learn in School of Ministry. The School of Ministry has done a lot of damage to the power of the church which is why God is preparing vessels to display his power, he will hand pick them and prepare them himself, not by might nor by our power but by the spirit of the living God, and he will ensure the are ordained to execute their Godly duties.

There are also different ways to pray, laughter (Proverbs 17:22), crying (John 11:43/Ps 3:17), screaming (Ps 18:6/Hebrews 5:7), tongues (1 Cor 14:2-3), words, groanings (Romans 8:26), silent prayers (1 Samuel 1:12-13) that are unseen and unheard only God can hear because it is heart to heart expressing no emotions, just to name a few examples.

In today’s church, if you laugh, groan or scream at the altar they will say you are possessed and send you to your seat, yet they will babble nonsense for hours and expect you to stay and listen. God’s glory is being suffocated and micromanaged.

Lord have mercy on us and release us in Jesus’ mighty name!
