The first collection basket at every place of worship should be at the door collecting the electronic devices that parishioners attend service with for example laptops, cameras and cellphones should be left at the door.
This is to reduce distractions caused by the devices of this world and induce interaction with the Altar of the Lord in that place. In other religious places they remove their shoes understanding the respect of that place so when we see them getting ahead in life it is because some of them who do not know God have more respect than those who know God. They have mastered obedience even in their darkness and we who are in the light have become so disobedient.
The humility in which people leave their shoes at the door and sit on the ground for extended hours to worship their idol God’s, is a principle we need in all our Churches. By nature when I am waging war against the enemy in the spirit sometimes I take off my shoes and can concentrate better, especially if I am standing and praying. The Ground under my feet becomes Holy Ground like in the days of Moses.
How can we go to our local Churches and expect to be transformed with a phone in our hands? As for me I don’t even like to keep my eyes open as much as possible because it can cause distractions, our eyes are portals. It is so easy to miss a moment because of being too distracted, so the Church needs to cancel “phone culture”.
Thank God that my call is not restricted to a physical Building and he knows why, I would definitely be collecting phones and shoes at the door and allowing people to dress as they please, pajamas and all if it is all they have, once they are comfortable to jump, praise, scream, shout, cry, roll on the floor, run and whatever the Holy Spirit moves them to do in that moment.
Church is not a concert, it is not about wearing your best, sounding your best, and clicking your devices very modestly or you will return home the same way you came. This is concerning the Prophetic Ministry, not regular religious Churches.
I am not saying to act unnecessarily reckless just for the sake of it, but with humility, be willing to do what it takes for your freedom and that of every soul you are standing in the gap for in the name of Jesus.
A believer of the Lord Jesus Christ should sense when Jesus enters the room, even if you cannot see in the spirit, you can feel and hear, the environment changes. The musical instruments are so loud sometimes but amongst it you can feel the difference. That sensitivity can never be made sharper and maximized by looking at your device or simply not being engaged.
We need to train our children from small so do not encourage them to play games on a phone, run around and listen to cartoons on a phone or tablet device during a Church Service because when they get older they will do the same in a greater capacity.
Cell Phones are a strange addiction, but it is very real and should not be treated lightly. Let’s remove the devices during service in prophetic spaces for the Glory of God, in Jesus name.
