The enemy of Altitude

The enemy loves altitude, so always seeks to corrupt those that hold the highest offices in the Church and in Secular offices. This is the reason he was cast out from Heaven in the first place, he wanted to go to the higher Heavens where the Lord resides.

Therefore the higher you climb in life can determine the harder the fall if you are not staying in a place of humility, by being dead to your own selfish desires. It is so easy to become corrupted, even unintentionally because of the subtlety of the devil. He will try to trick you into submission to his plans.

pride, rebellion, selfishness, greed, slothfulness, lust, being judgmental, having unforgiveness and every other scheme that he will plant in your heart to cancel the good work that the Lord has called you to do.

He loves power which is why it is very bad for you to desire power if you do not love God, and in loving God, loving people is part of the package, it comes naturally. If you love God, but hate people, then he has already entered your heart and repentance might be a good place to start.

If you find yourself trying to keep others down regarding their progress, especially regarding the things of God, then you have already succumbed to the subtlety of the enemy, because you may be maintaining your position only by pushing others back down the line, which is ungodly! and God will eventually remove you, which is the equivalent of being cast out.

Father God I pray for mercy for those that have allowed the office you called them to to become corrupted, they that are standing in the way of Salvation, standing in the way of Healing, they that are in your house but are standing against the growth of your house, they that are standing against the spreading of the Gospel, whether they are aware or unaware, Father redeem their souls today, and lead them back into your righteousness, for your glory, in Jesus name Amen. Hallelujah!
