The Purpose of Power

The purpose of power in the Kingdom of God is to carry out the God-given mandate assigned to a believer. Which may also include those that the elders in our families did not carry out.

Many have failed in their commitment to carry about the God-given assignments and became peddlers of the gifts by stepping out of the will of God and trying to manipulate God’s people. 

The triumph of the wicked is but a minute, so do not be surprised when we see men and women falling and being put to shame, it is part of the price to pay for not having a full commitment or dropping the ball entirely according to the mandate and assignment in the Lord.

The purpose of power is for healing, deliverance, salvation, redemption, edification and everything that leads to the overall expansion of the Kingdom of Heaven.

To whom much is given much is required which is why the Lord lifts people financially with the expectation that they will use the resources to advance his Kingdom although this is not always the case, many fell and failed in their ability to remain focused.

This is why the Bible tells us that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just and also that the Lord gives all humans the power to get wealth for the establishment of his covenant. Everything is supposed to be about blessing the Kingdom of Heaven and everyone that is labouring for selfish desires, labours in vain.

This also applies to our own personal homes and everything related to our day to day lives. The Bible also says that except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain and except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. The same applies to our relationships, Christ has to be the pillow. Everywhere there is life there is the ability for power to be manifested but God has to be first so that he can be Glorified.

Everywhere there is power transformation should be also. The power of God works against the powers and principalities of the enemy, and can only be authentically accessed by the bearers being in absolute alignment and submission to the will of God at all times.

Power comes from God and is for glorifying God.

Heavenly Father give us all the grace to stay in line especially when you power up the assigned mandates, in Jesus name.
