During the time of leadership on the counselling team at the Ministry where I got saved we were assigned souls to follow up on and the man of God would always caution that if we are assigned to follow someone up pertaining their salvation and if in failing to do so they backslid and subsequently died their blood is on our hands, in Heavens record we are going to be held accountable for that soul.
For this reason if the Lord place it in my spirit to pray for someone whether they are saved or not, the same will be done. Likewise if he instructs me to contact someone and deliver a message I would, this way if they fall, it will not be my responsibility as my purpose concerning them would have been completed.
When the Lord desires to Judge us he will look at our hearts, our minds and our hands which represent our deeds. The work of our hands in general is very important, especially pertaining to Ministry. The Lord has detailed reports on every person so we need to make sure that nobody’s blood is on our hands due to our incomplete assignments.
If we are assigned to pray for someone by the spirit of the Lord it means that the prayer will be backed by heaven and have the power to change things in the spirit concerning that person, God provides where he guides.
It is also important for us to note that if someone received Godly counsel that requires them to take action, and they fail to do so, we can pray for them one thousand times, the unfinished assignment will block them from reaping the blessing that is supposed to be released by the prayer we pray.
Transformation requires faith and faith requires action. Glory be to God!
Dear believers of God, ensure that nobody’s blood is on your hands by neglecting the call of God concerning that person. We can receive an instruction and ignore it so we need to remain dead to our own feelings and prideful thoughts so that many can live in Christ. Hallelujah Jesus!
