Heavens Roll call

A lot of people are present on Heavens Roll Call but absent on the chosen list. The word of God tells us that “many are called, but few are chosen”. If you hear your name call, it does not mean that you are called to a pulpit or to lead a flock.

After being called there is always a waiting season, which is like a testing time to see if you can be used on the chosen list. It is like God’s probation, at this time it will be made evident what duties you are expected to carry out if chosen, or God will reveal some things concerning how he is going to transform you for the mandate if chosen. At this point you can even show interest in the things of God or not.

Just like how we need to be qualified for a particular position in a job and some companies even require experience, it is similar in the spirit. An assigned time is given to prepare you for being chosen, where you will be trained up in the spirit and taught of the Lord so that you can gain experience concerning the faith of the Lord. However, during this time is where some believers have skipped the essential steps of the Holy spirit training, went to learn theology, began to rely on their own understanding and assumed very demanding positions in the body of Christ expecting the Lord to anoint them to suit what they chose to do. If God is not in the lead then he can not take someone very far, neither in their personal lives nor Ministry.

During the waiting season it can be revealed to the Lord if a believer is entering his Ministry for the wrong reasons and he will not anoint them for “chosen responsibilities”.

The most important part of your Christ walk is to be sure that you are on the chosen list before commencing Ministerial duties. How to confirm if you are on the chosen list? Simple, the instructions that come after the call matters the most because it will be your guide as to where and how you are supposed to function. God anoints you based on the work he has for you to do and it can change during the process. You can be given additional tasks or some can be stripped of assignments, either to take them through a humbling season for a greater work ahead or the Lord is moving the anointing to another vessel who has been better prepared for his work in that particular area of his Ministry.

There are men and women of God who have already stepped to the podium of the Lord and do not want to be seen as fallen soldiers so prefer to “fake through” the time that the grace is lifted, and during this time nobody can truly be fed or transformed in that place.

This is the cause of not waiting to confirm the instructions and running ahead of the Lord with zeal. For example if you are anointed as an Evangelist but went and study to be a Pastor, even after being ordained to that office you will not be effective according to the will of God because he has released the grace to evangelize and being faithful at that level can cause him to lift and anoint you to another level in Ministry.

There is a Pastor and Church at every corner but where are the evangelists assigned to fill the houses? They cannot be found because many people are misinterpreting the call and jumping to the pulpit. Titles are like a sickness in the house of the Lord which is why people are full of sicknesses.

May the Lord give us the grace to follow instructions according to his “Roll Call” distinguishing between called and chosen in Jesus name.
