The Faith Walk

The scripture below is one of the many that the Lord gave me early in my Christ walk, especially verse six and shall always be the foundation of every aspect of my life as a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 11:1-7

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Faith is one of the most important parts of the Christ walk; this will never change so we need to ensure our faith is kept strong by constantly hearing the word of the Lord. It also has to be proven by our works, where there is faith there is always a display of something being done. Faith is transactional, it ensues movement because it lives.

There are things already assigned to our lives but we have to use our faith to reach for it in the spirit realm so that it can be manifested in the physical. Declarations are one way to tap into the unseen but our faith has to match the words we speak for there to be an actual release.

Miracles can only happen by the application to faith in situations that require it and it has to be equally in sync among everyone involved for the will of God to be manifested in the most effective way.

The love of God requires faith, because it will allow the ability to seek and remain consistent no matter the circumstances, especially if uncomfortable circumstances arise. Love and faith will allow someone to complete a God-given assignment just like Noah, even if everyone is against it or does not understand that particular assignment. Love will also allow us to do things for others even if it means neglecting our own needs in those moments.

Deliverance and healing requires faith as we know because if someone is in a situation to receive from a servant of the Lord they have to believe in order to receive, likewise God’s servant has to be able to deliver by faith, therefore transformation can only take place by a match of faith.

Salvation also requires faith because you are accepting a God that you cannot see physically, just as receiving the Power of God and gifts of the Holy Spirit by faith.

Faith will always be the foundation of the Christ walk and this will never change, it is a requirement because God can only move in us and our lives the way he requires based on the size of each individual’s faith. Faith is just as important as every aspect of the Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit.
