Being a Believer who has to look outside of the Church environment for support in Business don’t expect me to support your church events, funds and causes when you have never one day prayed for my Business Success, much less for me to become gainfully employed.
I am so sick and tired of the “gimme gimme” mentally in the Church, where you have to have money to enter a Church or Prayer line these days as though it is a concert.
Why are people pimping out Jesus?, especially in the middle of a famine. Does that even make sense? We tell people to “give and it shall come back to you”, but for God’s sake practice it also.
Back in the day there would be anointing services for Business, Anointing services for Studies, Work etc. now everything has changed. Church is now about going to a place to hear an emotional speech most times that does not glorify the Lord Jesus then putting money in a box or equivalent to pay a speaker who does not care about you nor your household needs.
There is no love in the church anymore, sadly it is like a regular day job for some and a hobby for others.
Love has to be demonstrated not thought. I am a Sole Trader and not one of my clients are believers, and more than likely none will ever be in my locality. Maybe abroad, but definitely not in my own country.
How do the Church expect to grow and prosper by excluding their peers in the Lord from receiving new opportunities that promote growth and expansion? We should be inspired to uplift our peers in the Lord, not scorn them, speak against them and wish that they do not thrive knowing that the Lord Jesus will always send regular people around you to test your heart.
Father give me the strength to rebuke or avoid every selfish hearted Christian that tries to steal my peace, or abuse my resources in Jesus name, and give me the strength to stand with those that need my prayer and support in Jesus name.
