Prophetic Dances

When Pharaoh and his army were defeated by the intervention of the Lord according to scripture; Prophetess Miriam, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. They danced Prophetically to celebrate the Lord’s victory. (Exodus 15:20).

David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. This was a Prophetic dance also.

Dance with all your might before the Lord, it is a Prophetic movement of celebration of God’s glory. Physical movements can be reflected in the spirit realm, therefore be careful not to come into any strange agreement by dancing and gyrating to worldly music, yes. Dance is a very powerful form of worship.

Therefore, for intense worship I must be in my secret place because when moving into the dance Ministry, those who do not understand may assume it is a demonic manifestation. Dance is also a display of God’s Glory and coming into communication with the heavenly realm. Besides, the celebration is not unto man but unto the Lord God almighty, bask in the Glory of your Heavenly Father.

Prophetic dance is a reflection of the heart of God. Intense worship and praise can provoke prophetic dances which can launch a believer deeper into the spirit. Every action has a reaction, dance is an action therefore therefore there will be a reaction from heaven when you dance prophetically in Jesus name.

There are certain worship songs that can provoke me to dance prophetically and when I do there is an unexplainable feeling of freedom that comes with revelation. Heaven responds to dance just as much as our sacrifices by commitments, prayer, praise and worship.

Celebrate the Lord Jesus as moved by the power of the Holy Spirit, dance, praise, worship or run. Glorify your Father which is in Heaven. Celebrate the goodness of God in Jesus name, he is God all by himself and is worthy to be praised.

Hallelujah Jesus!
