It bothers me so much to see how someone can be bleeding out publicly whether emotionally or physically and instead of making a positive contribution to the cause most people will add insult to injury. This is very sad and it shows where the majority of society is regarding their standing with the Lord.
The scripture below shows what was the Lord’s response to a woman who was physically bleeding out, so much that she began to lose her strength and this is the posture we need to adopt as a people.
Luke 8:43-48
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
By just one touch, she was made whole. We cannot even feel the touch, much less to bare witness to the sight of agony, and sound of unuttered screams. The world has become so dense!
Thank God that I have accepted my trials as stripes that have to be endured for the sake of Ministry, knowing that being a messenger of the Lord is my safe zone as I can rest assured that God will turn every mess into a message.
God knows how evil man can be so he left us with a list of Biblical laws to abide by with consequences if we do not adhere to such, and for this reason I am not bothered by what someone else decides to do with their lives especially if they know better.
When you know your identity and have assumed a position in Christ you will not be too overly concerned by the actions of others, having understood that the Lord’s job is to judge all of mankind, we will not try to judge people. We need to let God be God even when people betray our expectations.
Jesus never tried to harm Judas even when he was made aware of his assignment. Maturity in Christ is a must to navigate life, especially in the Christ walk. Every human has to be accountable for their sins before leaving this earth and even after.
We can however ensure that we do not fall into condemning others after having walked through circumstances that caused us to be openly condemned for things that were mely done to us.
To everyone that sees someone bleeding out and chooses to intentionally plaster the loopholes of that person’s life into spaces that can potentially lead to unnecessary destruction, instead of having a mindset of damage control, may the Lord have mercy on you in Jesus name because your time will come.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
