Shifting the Mantle

Shifting the Mantle which refers to the spiritual aspect of God-given assignments along with the Blessings and attributes that comes with it, is a topic the Lord gave me to Minister on, however I decided to elaborate on it a bit also in writing.

Just as how the Lord moved Moses’ mantle onto Joshua, it is the same manner by which mantles that our parents did not fulfill, or even if they fulfilled it can also be passed down in order to continue the mandate.

God is very serious about Kingdom Business, hence the work of the Lord has to continue, whether a servant is reluctant to serve or they died. People die but assignments and the anointing associated with it don’t. Time is of the essence, especially in this last hour and assignments have to be fulfilled.

When you see someone, or your own Blessings in life begin to dry up, check the Mantle, do you still have it? Or is it shifted? Pray concerning your mantle, spend time in God’s presence and under the right covering to receive the right guidance concerning it.

The Mantle can be shifted, and therefore the Lord will eventually remove servants that have corrupted the call of God and he will place ready servants to complete the assignments. God’s will shall be done on this earth as already laid out by the Heavens, no matter what and he cares for his people more than we can think or imagine which is why the assignments are accompanied by the required provision according to Joshua Chapter 1:3 which says, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses”, this same promise applies to us, however we cannot try to access the provision, and not want to do the work assigned to that cause, whatever it may be.

In the following verse which reads as follows: Joshua 1:4 “From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast”, Joshua was given boundaries. Although it was physical boundaries, in the same manner we have to observe the boundaries that are laid out for us. Boundaries in the way we treat people, the way we speak, the way we carry about ourselves being bearers of God’s anointing and carriers of his Grace, Boundaries concerning every aspect of what we feel to do versus what we are called to do, even also physical boundaries concerning where we are expected to go throughout the earth to win souls, as well as the places we reside, our earthly inheritance and all these things are tied to the call in Christ, the mandate.

Verse five which reads as follows: Joshua 1:5 “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee”, is a promise to protect, which is also viable concerning us if we are operating within the capacity as assigned by the Lord he has promised to protect us, therefore we should never be afraid when we see or hear people that are against us. They are not against us because the Lord is in a covenant to protect us, they are attempting to stand against the Lord, which as we know is not entirely possible. Be not afraid!

The two following verses Joshua was cautioned about strife that may ensue among the people, therefore indicating the need to be strong and of good courage. Joshua was given a “heads up” as we call it, an idea of what to expect which we can also take note of understanding it will not be smooth sailing but we will always overcome.

Then in verse seven he was called to obedience, and told to follow the laws according to how the Lord had Moses document it. Discipline discipleship! We need discipline in order to maintain our God given mantles. Obedience goes hand in hand with sacrifice and self denial.

Make yourself a ready servant so that the Lord can shift Mantles unto you, while understanding the sacrifice aspect, which will require us to be willing to say Sir, Yes Sir, saluting the grace, understanding that we are in an army of the Lord where he is our great commander in chief.

Just as soldiers do not receive days off for extensive periods of time, we are also called to remain on duty concerning the Mantle the Lord has assigned to us for as long as we have life, because we are in a spiritual battlefield and this covenant is ongoing which is why people fall sick and go through things because they have placed their mantles on the side and picked up their own assignments.

Another important factor is, in verses ten and eleven Joshua walked right into his office of Leadership and started to lay out instructions to the people. He wasted no time, there was no procrastination, he began to perform a good work one time knowing that the Lord was guiding the process.

The people responded to the call of God for Joshua to lead them. Joshua 1:16 says, “And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go”. This means that the Lord also positively affects the hearts and minds of the people to cooperate with the leaders he sends to guide them. God will minister to those that we are sent to even before we arrive at the place where we are to be received because all things work together for his good.

Father, we pray today that our mantles do not prematurely shift off of us and that we are prepared to receive any additional mantles that you have for us, we thank you for the grace, and we pray oh Lord in advance for the mantles that you have assigned to our children to be fulfilled in due time, shift the Mantles according to your will Lord in Jesus mighty name!
