Christ was Crucified, then he was resurrected from the dead, hence today we serve a living King who is the only way we can access God on his throne and this makes up the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We need to remember that Jesus was taken to a garden tomb where nobody was ever laid, and none of his bones were broken up to the moment he gave up the Ghost. This is evidence that Jesus was a seed because only seeds are placed in a garden with hopes of life being sprung up later on, growing into something beautiful. Jesus was a seed in that garden, the seed for your redemption and salvation. Everything that the living Christ stands for represents beauty in one way or the other.
Seeds look dried and finished, but after being placed into the ground for a while it will spring up into something beautiful that can be seen above the earth. However if it has been dismembered, and physically taken apart, life will never be able to spring from it, instead it will dry and rot into mulch in the ground.
Some people discard seeds with no intention to see it grow into something in future. Likewise, some people think death means “done and dusted”, and they do not believe in life after death therefore they do not believe in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are people who walk the face of this earth and thinking “earth is it”, they cannot comprehend life after death therefore if they call the name of Jesus, it will be in vain because they are referring to the Christ on the cross who gave up the ghost. That version of Christ cannot do one single miracle because he is physically dead and had not yet received the power of resurrection, any prayer in the name of the dead Christ has nothing to do with heaven. This is why the Lord specifically said believe so that you can receive.
If a man does not believe that Christ lives, no matter what he asks it cannot be made manifest.
The scriptures cautioned against worshipping the dead, “do not mark your skin for the dead” and “let the dead bury the dead”. Not to imply that respect should not be paid to our loved ones that moved on, but do not grovel over the dead as many are doing today. In fact the death rate is so high because many are serving dead Gods.
Christ is life, he came that we have life abundantly once we believe.
We cannot perform healing and deliverance on people that do not believe that Christ lives. If they believe in a dead Christ and we believe that Christ lives there is a clash so how can healing virtues flow according to the will of God?
Additionally, we see people performing necromancy which according to studies, is communicating with the dead for knowledge, if they do not believe in Christ that lives they cannot receive any good thing, which as we know a good thing is a God thing, hence they sought ungodly sources. It will appear the same to those that are not being led by the spirit, therefore we need to put on the armor of God, the mind of Christ and most importantly Believe! in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When entering a place of worship for instance, one of the first things we have to find out is if that house is serving the version of Christ that hung lifeless on the cross or the Christ that lives forever more.
Although Christ is an incorruptible seed, the world has a way of altering everything. Take for instance when the Lord made a promise to mankind that he will not flood the earth again he confirmed that commitment with the rainbow, now the world is using the same rainbow colours to represent “Sodom”, hence people are now afraid to use God-given colours.
Therefore not everyone that says in Jesus name is referring to the resurrected Christ. Belief makes the difference, words are just wind without faith. I truly believe that this is the reason that the Lord said that many will say they did wonders in his name and he will tell them he did not know them.
Every other God that people serve represents death and idolatry, therefore anything benefited from those places will not last. The Bible says the triumph of the wicked is but “one moment”. Every other name will fade away while the resurrected Christ remains ALIVE till eternity!
Father, we thank you for giving us the Wisdom to know the difference between death and life in Jesus’ name.
