Many years ago, someone astral projected themselves to my location and what I saw was an image of their eyes up on the wall in spirit form, then it disappeared. A definite reminder that we are very vulnerable in many regards when we are not yet saved, open to all types of forces and entities.
For years I never understood what it meant nor tried to enquire, with the assumption that they went to one of those places that deals with sorcery in attempts to accomplish exactly that, taking the form of a watcher in that moment as watchers are fallen angels that were known for all sorts of evil.
Knowing that they could not physically harm me was not unbothered, especially not having understanding of things of the spirit then, although I was a little curious as I’d never seen anything like that before and heard from other people over the years mention that the same happened to them and they were also able to know who it was by the appearance of what they saw also.
Today, by the grace of the Lord and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I was able to do a bit of research on the topic of astral projection which brough me to the understanding that it is a state of mind and form of meditation that can take someone into that position.
This never happened in the Bible however, there were instances of teleportation which is completely different and can only be achieved by God himself as seen in the following scriptures, Ezekiel 8:3, Acts 8:39, Gen 5:24, 2 Kings 2:11, Hebrews 11:5 therefore we know that astral projection is unGodly. In fact the only religions that believe in such are Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and ancient Egyptian beliefs.
However, God can give someone the ability to see in the spirit, specific things inclusive of locations, that are seen in a fully awakened state, while fully conscious, yet your eyes can either be open or closed. This is a spiritual gift from God, mainly given to Prophetic Ministers for the deliverance Ministry. When this gift is being used you can see without someone knowing that you can see a particular thing unless it is mentioned, and you can ask the Holy Spirit if the vision is from the Lord and if you should speak concerning it, before acting on what was seen. If it is urgent, the Holy Spirit will keep showing you it until you respond. Every gift works differently, however you can summon the Holy Spirit for specific information, by praying in the Heavenly tongues and searching for the desire of the Lord concerning something specific.
Astral projection is absolutely demonic and we can block it by taking authority in prayer in the name of Jesus, over anyone who may attempt to astral travel to us, also praying for it to be returned to their bodies or for their spirit to remain trapped out of their bodies if we are made aware that they have thoughts of evil towards us.
