In most countries the Government is in direct control of the economy making decisions that effect it however, in other countries private individuals and businesses make economy based decisions alongside the government, none of which are consulted by the body of Christ although in Biblical times the Prophetic office of the church was consulted before making major decisions in war and so forth, this is no longer a practice. Hence the state of the economy in several countries and God’s people are affected.
Government systems are so easily corrupted because of satan’s influence over the earthly Kingdoms, which is what he tried to offer Jesus in place of his devotion to God. Likewise, the Bible cautions us against gaining the whole world and losing our soul, knowing that we can all be potentially tempted in the same manner because before satan was cast out he was a high-ranking angel at the right hand of God, the prince of Angels and a leader of Worship, he still has the anointing although it has been perverted, hence his ability to control economic systems in the earth. The word of God encourages us to fight back and take back what belongs to us in the earth as heirs of the Lord as the devil claims with false authority.
A desire for quick money that one will do anything to acquire just like Judas, by even being willing to undermine the things of God, is what the word of God cautiones us against in addition to heaping wealth to oneself without fair distribution helping those that are helpless and in need as well as, ensuring that financial resources are also used to bless the Kindom of God and advance God’s work.
The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil, encouraging us not to idolize it, making it a God, although it may be a requirement in our everyday lives.
Take for instance a friendly relationship can be easily turned into a bitter one from the moment that a monetary transaction becomes involved, hence money being referred to as evil. Although money is not actual evil, it is a physical item, the way in which it is used by the person that has acquired it, is what is deemed evil or not.
I am pretty sure that the tithing principle was put in place to bless one’s fincnaces, as the bible spoke about the whole lump becoming holy after we have given the ten percent of it, as the devil had corrupted the money after his fall, affecting economic systems worldwide. Most rich people do not serve God at all, rather worldly Gods.
The Bible also encourages us not to store up treasures on earth where it can become corrupted, instead in heavenly places referring again to remaining Christ centered and focusing on the things of God first before personal gain, although we are supposed to live good lives while on earth, let it be reflected by our works instead of by displaying greed and selfishness.
Aways look at the desire behind why someone wants money and you can tell if it is to glorify the kingdom of darkness or that of God in Heaven.
This has a lot to do with why Governments are now reliant on drug cartels being in operation to fund their Ministries and related activities instead of thriving economic and investment plans because again, their decision making has nothing to do with the Godly structure, so they have turned to idol Gods of the earth for assistance. Therefore what we need to pray for is Godly leadership, worldwide because a corrupted head will reflect a corrupted body, how can a country thrive under a twisted economic system ruled by the devil?
We need to pray for the economic systems of the world to be delivered into the hands of the Lord in Jesus name.
