Fall and Rise!

As the 2026 new years “honeymoon phase” passed, it quickly became an interesting season, the Lord silenced me for almost a quarter, no access to essential utilities and just enough resources to stay alive, nothing more, nothing less.

Writing but could not publish, worshipping new songs yet unable to share the content.

A time when others would have said f** that and quit it all, I stood in the shadow of the wings of the Lord with faith awaiting the promise of whatever lay ahead.

I heard the murmuring and fake laughs as a few tried to bring my name into disrepute as every move I made was twisted into plots and schemes, insults and accusations one after the other. Being excluded where I should have been included.

Feeling like I’m just as a carpet laid out to walk on to get to the other side of things as I absorbed the fact that all that could have gone wrong, indeed went wrong.

This time led me to remember my pastors words “down is up in Christ” which was my assurance that there is a climb ahead, which I would be required to maintain whilst ensuring not to “fall hard” without a recovery at all.

This was the point where I remembered that pain is sent ahead of major breakthroughs to prepare us to carry the victory gracefully.

New talents were downloaded from Heaven, granting me the ability to be productive in the wait. My focus was shifted into mixing mortar, laying tiles, raising ceiling boards which kept me busy, while enduring just another replica of the cross moment, represented by physical, social, economical and emotional hardship.

Then the Lord sent good people to my rescue, leading conversations on my behalf and in my absence. Helping things fall into place whilst wanting nothing in return for themselves and not even pondering on if I am deserving of their hand in crisis. May God richly bless them in Jesus name!

I am indeed thankful and eternally grateful. May the love of God always be as a blanket over their entire lives covering them from pain, fears, sorrows and whatever else is unpleasant in Jesus name.

I rise by God’s grace and in Jesus name, knowing that it was all for his Glory as he sees the bigger picture. God knows everything, all the way till the end of time, he is God all by himself so let us continue to praise him.
